This page explains how teen learner accounts work in the AI Summer Startup Bootcamp and what a parent or legal guardian is agreeing to when enrolling a teen.
How guardian-managed teen accounts work
Teen accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. The guardian completes registration, makes payment, and is the primary point of contact for the account. The teen uses the account to complete missions, but the guardian retains oversight and may review work at any time.
Who can enroll
Teen learners ages 13–17 may participate only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. The guardian must be 18 or older and authorized to enroll the teen.
